European clubs will have another tournament to partake in soon, as UEFA announced Sunday it has approved a new 32-team competition that will begin play in 2021.

The tournament will mirror the current format of the Champions League and Europa League: a group stage (eight groups of four teams each), followed by a round of 16, quarter-finals, semi-finals, and a deciding final.
