Paris Saint-Germain forwards Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are firmly focused on Wednesday's crucial Champions League clash with Liverpool and will not risk aggravating their respective injuries against Toulouse on Saturday.

Neymar is understood to have suffered a groin ailment just a few minutes into Brazil's 1-0 friendly win over Cameroon on Wednesday, while Mbappe hurt his shoulder the previous day after falling awkwardly in France's 1-0 victory against Uruguay.

"We will not take chances for tomorrow," PSG manager Thomas Tuchel said on Friday, as quoted by BBC Sport.

"But we have the possibility that they will play against Liverpool on Wednesday. I think it's possible."

Neymar has scored 13 and assisted six times in 15 matches in this season's Ligue 1 and Champions League campaigns, while Mbappe has also combined for 13 goals and six assists in 13 matches across the two competitions.

If they both somehow miss the midweek visit from Liverpool, much of Paris Saint-Germain's attacking emphasis will likely rest on Edinson Cavani, Angel Di Maria, and Julian Draxler.
