It all comes down to Matchday 6.

Tottenham kept their Champions League hopes intact with a late victory over Inter and Paris Saint-Germain blew Group C wide open with a clutch win against Liverpool.

The traveling Nerazzurri needed only a draw to reach the next round, but Christian Eriksen popped up in the 80th minute to spoil their plans.

PSG moved to second in their group thanks to goals from Juan Bernat and Neymar in a 2-1 victory.

Now Napoli, PSG, and Liverpool each have a chance to advance from Group C heading into the final day of the group stage.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund joined Atletico Madrid, Porto, and FC Schalke 04 as the latest teams to qualify following a 0-0 draw at home to Club Brugge.

Atletico sealed qualification from Group A with a straightforward 2-0 result against AS Monaco earlier Wednesday, while Porto and Schalke booked their places without even stepping onto the pitch. Lokomotiv Moscow did them a favor by defeating Group D rivals Galatasaray in the other earlier kickoff.

Spurs had to beat Inter on Wembley's less-than-ideal pitch to remain in contention for a last-16 berth - and they did just that. The result moved Tottenham even on seven points with Inter and gave them the tiebreaker against the Italian side on away goals.

Tottenham will advance as long as they match or better Inter's result on the final matchday. However, Mauricio Pochettino's men face a tough trip to Barcelona while Inter host the already-eliminated PSV Eindhoven.

Barcelona clinched top spot in Group B by virtue of their 2-1 victory over PSV.

The permutations are just as convoluted in Group C. PSG and Napoli can progress with draws away to Red Star Belgrade and Liverpool, respectively, on Dec. 11. Liverpool, on the other hand, have no choice but to beat Napoli by two goals at Anfield to guarantee moving on.
